Zonayad “Zee” Akbar is Co-Founder and CPO of MorPro, the Operating System for Modern Trucking, and a co-founder of Trucker College. A New York City native, he has scaled trucking companies and co-owns a 20-truck fleet running long-haul freight nationwide. He leads product strategy, deciding what MorPro builds for carriers and shippers and why.
Zee co-founded MorPro in February 2026. A New York City native, he studied pre-medicine at Hunter College before leaving to work on startups full time. Since then he has worked at the intersection of product, operations, and logistics: he has scaled trucking companies, helped grow startup operations, and led multimillion-dollar initiatives in logistics and health technology.
Today he co-owns a 20-truck fleet running long-haul freight nationwide, which keeps his product decisions grounded in how carriers actually operate.
As CPO, Zee leads product strategy across neXt TMS, Spotty, and MorPro Direct. He decides what gets built, for whom, and in what order, turning fragmented logistics workflows into products that help carriers and shippers operate with better visibility and fewer handoffs.
That operating experience shapes how he sets product direction: he turns the daily workflows of carriers and shippers into products that improve execution, visibility, and efficiency.
At Trucker College, Zee brings that same lens to what gets taught: the systems a small carrier needs to run well, in the order they need them.
